The Polkemmet reclamation scheme / Heartlands project is a massive one and possibly at this moment in time the biggest of its kind in the northern hemisphere. It will create new jobs and new opportunities for the people of Whitburn and the surrounding area but... what can Whitburn do for the project?
Ecosse Regeneration Ltd will be looking for local businesses, sole traders, tradespeople who can offer their services as this multimillion pound masterpiece takes shape. It could be anything from fencers and landscapers to plant operators and labourers. Ecosse are hoping to use as much local companies and expertise from the area.

The fluid nature of the work means that the project is ever changing so if perhaps your type of skill is not needed this year, if may well be crucial next year.
